Sugar 'n Spice VoxBox

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share with you my most recent VoxBox from Influenster called "Sugar 'n Spice." I have mentioned Influenster before if you remember that post. I love Influenster and wanted to give you a review on each item. that was in my box.
When I received my box I was so excited. There were a few items I was eyeing previously and wanted to try
I enjoy using them after my hair removal process. I put a little Tend Skin on the towelette then wipe all over.
They are mild enough to use on my legs or bikini area. It really soothes my skin even when used alone.
I love that the towelettes are really moist and not dry like some other pre-wrapped products can be.

Added a little nectresse to my morning coffee. The taste reminds me of Stevia or Truvia
which are not my personal favs. The flavor is too strong. Even with a little of it in my coffee which also
had flavored creamer, I still taste the nectresse. It was hard to mask that flavor. It's overpowering.
I have a friend who mentioned eating these for breakfast.
I have seen these at my local grocery store but when I realized they were just breakfast biscuits, I passed because they seemed a little boring.
I am glad that I did receive these because they are good!!!!!
They are perfect for anytime of the day and I love them after my meals as a little snack.
I went and purchase a box in the Blueberry because I love them so much. Yum
As you can see I was already a lover of whitening toothpaste.
I have been a Crest girl for years because I loved the taste but
Colgate Optic White taste just as good.
After a while my body gets immune to a product and stops working so I will be purchasing Colgate from now on because I am aiming for that bright white smile :))
I was also excited about receiving this product. After my application,
I loved the fact that it was quick and easy because it is a spray moisturizer
but it makes my skin itch :( I tried it after showering one night and
was itching all night throughout my sleep.
I tried it during the day and the same results.
I find myself having to use this along with vaseline or cocoa butter to minimize the itching.
It kind of defeats the purpose of being a "Spray & Go" product for me.
If Vaseline comes out with a Sensitive Skin moisturizer I may give it another try but overall I was disappointed.

Easy Chobani Banana Easter Freeze Pops

Hello Everyone. It is officially Spring but the weather is still crazy. I can't believe it was just snowing the other day. I have never been more ready for warm weather. How bout yourself? Since Easter is right around the corner I decided to make some festive Easter Freeze Pops :)
These molds were only $2.99 at my local grocery store!
Washed and ready to go
I used a full container of Chobani and this much of banana
I spooned yogurt into the mold and added a little banana pieces along the way
It was enough for two full molds
The next day after sitting in the freezer,
I added some hot water over the Freeze Pop mold and...
Ta-Da!
If you love yogurt or Chobani as much as I do, then you will love these. Of course they taste good. I love Chobani! If you want to make other changes to the recipe you can. You can use plain yogurt or add other types of fruits. You can also add protein for yourself, or other fun things like Gummi Bears for the kids. Yum! If you try at home let me know what you decided to add and how it worked for you. Enjoy

I hope you have a great Easter!

My 1st Wash & Go as a Natural

Hey Everybody!

I know I've been posting less and less over the past few weeks. I've just needed some ME time. We all could use that once in a while right?
I wanted to share with you the results of my 1st ever WnG(Wash N Go). I have made a decision to experiment more and more with my natural curls for some added variety and to pull me myself out of my lazy hair moods. I was pretty excited by the results and will be doing this again for sure!

How I achieved my results:
  1. Washed with a clarifying shampoo (I like to clarify if I know I'm going to a treatment and/or color during my next wash).
  2. I used my Pantene Curly conditioner
  3. Finger detangled
  4. After I towel dried, I spray a little Aphogee Green Tea Restructurizer with a quarter size of Grapeseed Oil
  5. I sectioned my hair in tiny small sections using my hands to apply my brown Protein Eco Styler Gel along with some S-Curl gel I had (I don't know why I had this LOL).
  6. I allowed my hair to partially air dry before I lost my patience and whipped out my hand dryer. Tada!

What I will do different the next time?
I will add more oil to each section of hair because I want my hair to be as shiny as possible. I'll incorporate Argan Oil because that gives my hair amazing shine! I will also incorporate a cream for the LOC Method.

What did I do at night?
I tried to pineapple my hair but that did not work for me and I don't know if it ever will :( I ended up just putting a bonnet on and that's all.

How long did it last?
Definitely not as long as some ladies have said. They can last a week. I still haven't mastered that yet, but I know I'll be able to maintain a little longer after a few more attempts

BTW: If you click on the highlighted words you will be directed to the products that I used
*This does not necessarily mean I purchased the products from the sites mentioned*

How I set up my Hookah!

This first time I experienced this was over the Christmas holiday when my cousin came down and brought hers along. It was rather....interesting (clear my throat). LOL. I enjoyed the flavor and richness of the tobacco so I wanted to get one for myself. I went ahead and pick this particular unit up from Amazon along with the other items I needed. Yesterday was my first time using my newbie and I was lost as ever on how to set it up which is why I wanted to share with you guys what I did.
Hope you enjoy!

Fill the base with water leaving 2inches from the top opening
Connect the Hookah unit to the base
Should look like this when done!
Grab your Hookah tobacco (It's nicotine, tar, & tobacco FREE!!)
Add the tobacco to the bulb making sure to press down with your finger(s)
You can mix flavors as well
Add  foil to the top of the bulb
(Make sure shiny side of foil is facing down to retain charcoal heat unlike my picture)
Put tiny holes in the foil making sure the foil reminds tight and flat as possible
Add your charcoal (1 whole piece usually lasts 1 hour)
Chop down if you want to shorten your hookah time
Light the charcoal
While the charcoal is heating up, add your pipe to the unit (This hookah has two openings)
Connect the pipe to the opening, or you can connect two pipes if two people will be smoking

Add a mouth piece and you're ready to enjoy
Ta-Da!
All the items I purchased have been linked below if you want to purchase the same. Happy HOOKAH!
