Urban Decay's Naked and JewelMint

Beauty.com recently had a 20% off sale so I had to purchase something. I have heard about Urban Decay's Naked Eye-Shadow Palette for a while and this was the perfect chance for me to order. I attended a Hair & Fashion Show this past weekend and wanted to try the shadow along with some of my JewelMint pieces.

At first glance, the eye shadow colors were OK. (Yeah, just OK!). I have palettes from other companies that I use daily, so Urban Decay shadow colors appeared to be nothing new to me. I was WRONG!!

The Palette also came with a Urban Decay eye Primer and the Eye-Shadow Brush so I really feel like I got an amazing deal

From L to R: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, and GunMetal

I wanted a non dramatic eye so I decided to use "half baked" for my primary lid. I added "hustle" mixed with "creep" on my outer lid. I liked the end result because it was not too much or too little.

I added some of my favorite JewelMint pieces I have worn before:

  • Pin Up Necklace - seems like a piece that can only be worn casually, but I wore it a little different this time
  • Golden Goose Bracelet -  very classy and girly piece. I LOVE !
  • Trinity Bracelets - gold, rose-gold, and silver bracelets as a set. I love the mix of colors because they can be worn with anything
  • EverFrost Ring - my most worn JewelMint ring. I love the combination of white and gold. It can be paired with almost all of my outfits.

I also wanted to finally try other JewelMint pieces that I have never worn:

  • World's End Earrings - you can't miss these babes. Gold is in!
  • Humanity II/Revised Edition - Silver and rose-gold bracelet that goes so well with the other bracelets because of the mixture of colors.
I put on a simple black mini because the weather was nice out. Along with the dress, I added a orange blazer, platform pumps leopard pumps and leopard clutch (All purchased from Forever 21)
Here is the head to toe look

I love the Naked Palette! I use it all the time and love how many wearable combinations there are in one location. Did you know they recently released the Naked Palette 2? Its really pretty but I don't think I need both lol.

@Bloo Thanks. I love PIN UP!
@the beauty architect Since I am already behind, I don't need two (or aleast this soon). A few ladies have told me NAKED 2 isn't as good as NAKED 1, which I felt relieved to hear because I don't need both either. LOL! I do love this pallette though :-)
