Life is treating us well and I hope the same goes for you :) I recently got my hair straightened and I love it. Yes, I have a few colors going on but it's A-OK. Bye Bye soon to the green, dark brown, black, and the blonde that's seeping through. lol

The color is call Crema De Lemon and the name is fitting because it reminds me of Lemons and Creme. The application was not as easy as I would've preferred due to the wide thick brush, but I was still able to apply 3 coats evenly. Also, the polish is a tad bit thick which can be a pro or con for me...
Pro: It doesn't leave the polish streaky
Con: Thicker polishes has a tendency to bubble. Fortunately this particular brand didn't bubble. I hope it stays that way.
Overall I am happy with the polish. I have always wanted to try Lime Crime Lipstick so I guess I will be taking the leap to add that to my makeup collection.

I love fluorescent nails especially yellow. I already own Yellow Polka Dot Bikini by China Glaze and Glowstick by Orly. They're ok but this newbie called Ringo from Urban Outfitters is amazing. After dinner I decided to make a stop and I'm glad I did. Their polish applies like a dream. I only needed 2 coats, unlike the ones I previously purchased requires at least 3 coats.

What can I say about this gorgeous color. It's perfect. Yeah, I said it. Just when I thought that Essie Bikini So Teeny was one of the prettiest blues ever, this is neck and neck to that one. The colors are 95% identical, but the price definitely isn't. Sail La Vie only cost about $2 while Bikini So Teeny averages $8 (I grabbed mines on sale). Here is SAIL LA VIE!

Overall, I say skip the Essie and the cost and grab the Sinful colors color if you see it out. I would say Sinful Colors is a dupe for sure. Look at me wearing it in my most recent videos. I'm telling you. The pictures do no justice when you see it in action:
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I initially made this post while I was relaxing after shopping and cooking on Memorial Day but my App made all my pictures blurry and we can't have that. I wanted to share with you this amazing blue color, Revlon Mesmerize. I'm loving blues lately and I've been on the hunt for this baby every since I saw Dulce wear it. I even emailed Revlon to try and purchase but no luck there. When I saw it at CVS I grabbed it ASAP :)

Hello Ladies! I have recently had a liking for Essie polishes. I have always been a lover of Essie but I have been seeing a lot of their colors everywhere recently so it was time to go shopping.
I took both pictures WITHOUT Flash so you can see the true color using my iPhone which showed the color better than my DSLR
The first one up is called Bikini So Teeny from Essie's 2012 Summer Collection.
I wanted a periwinkle color and was torn between this and Lapiz of Luxury.
I ended up grabbing this as my choice.
I was keep my fingers crossed but figured if I didn't like
it,
I could exchange it.

This pretty is called Clambake. It's a red-orange color and really creamy. Let me tell you about this color. I went to pick up Shake Your $$ Maker from Essie's 2013 Collection. At the register I had both polishes but decided NOT to get Clambake because I wanted a green instead. When I got home I realized the sales rep put the wrong color in my bag. The unfortunate thing is that the store is going out of business so there are NO returns or exchanges :(
Even though Clambake is a pretty color, it is not what I originally wanted. The application for this polish was pretty easy. It applies equally as well as Bikini So Teeny. Thanks for stopping by, LaTasha xo

Just when I thought Zoya Fairies were taking a break from their promos, they pop up and are at it again. With all the flash promos over the Christmas holiday another promo afterwards was surprising but I liked it. I liked it a lot! Tehehe
This most recent promo was for 3 FREE bottles. I was responsible for the shipping costs which was just $10 so I was game because I was saying $24. I grabbed the beauty I'm posting about today named Robyn along with Creamy and Yummy. Yummy and Robyn appears to be similar in color but they are not(I'll compare the two in a later post).

Usually I am not big on centering my nail color around the holidays. I don't purposely wear orange/black for Halloween or blue/red for July 4th. This Christmas I've made an exception to the rule.
I have heard many great things about Ivanka by Zoya. Everyone says its a beautiful color, must have polish, their favorite green polish, etc. Those are big words so I had to see what the rave was about and grab me a bottle. LOL It was one of the many items I picked up from Zoya's (Stay tuned for my HAUL....)
Ladies and Gents, they were correct!! I have never received so many compliments on a nail polish color ever. This metallic green is breathtaking and I'm not even a huge metallic lover. It's the most beautiful green I've ever seen. The polish goes on smoothly with no grittiness like some metallic polishes tend to be. You can understand how much I love this polish because Zoya has changed mind about metallics and Holiday nails. It's perfect for Christmas because the green is so beautiful but let say this, once Christmas past I will still have this polish on because it's that gorgeous:))

I was looking for a polish similar to Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and I came across this color. It's a beautiful blue and I was immediately drawn to the shade. I ran home to polish my nails and then that's when the disappointment hit. This polish was difficult to use. The consistency is a little sticky for me. It reminds me of Zoya's Charisma but not as bad(I haven't been able to apply Charisma yet!) The Essie color was just a little thick. I used Seche Vite as a base coat so I'm not sure why it gave me a difficult time.
I purchased a few other others too. I will be trying those as well. Great colors huh?
BTW: This is my first post using my cell phone. I feel like I'm in Blog Happy Land. Lets the posts roll in :))
Update! I thought I grabbed my polishes for a really great deal at Walgreens. The bottle of Essie was $8 while the Maybelline bottles were $4.99 (I received 1/2 off the 2nd bottle). After going to Target today, they had the same bottles of Maybelline for $2.99 and the Essie was less than $8. After wearing the Essie today out and loving the color so much I have decided to keep that bottle and try a different base coat inside. The two bottles of Maybelline will be returned so I will not be getting a swatch of those colors unless I return to Target or grab them elsewhere for a great deal such as the one at Target :)

I have mentioned this time and time again but I really love NYX! It's a great brand to shop on a budget or if you're looking for a quality product at a great price. Fits me so I'll say YES to NYX. Cherry Culture had a sale so I decided to pick up some NYX lip colors as well and nail colors. I want to show you this beautiful nail color that I grabbed. It's called True Navy!
My thoughts: It's called "True Navy"but the polish actually
isn't that dark in my opinion.
It is a beautiful blue, but not really navy.
The color reminds me of Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue.
It is a few shades darker but I see the similarities
in the colors.
If you're in light True Navy is not really dark.
Overall I am satisfied with the polish and the results
because it's a gorgeous color regardless.

Hello Beautiful Ladies...and Gents :) I want to show you some swatches from my first ever Butter London purchase. I have tons of polish but never purchased this particular brand because I just didn't find a need to do so. My coworker said the quality is great and the polish last longer but ok.......LOL For me the price is a little steep and with my habit and love for polish I didn't want to take that huge of a leap. For $14 a bottle I can purchase a few bottles of polish from the other brands that I love.
So Ulta had their 21 days of beauty this month and on each day they had a special deal. I found out about their sale after seeing Kendall or Kylie Jenner Twitter post. Thanks girls :) The deal was Buy one Bottle for $14 get a bottle free!
Knackered I decided to go with Knackered because I thought it was a unique color. At first glance it was perfect in the bottle but when I put the polish on, it wasn't.I used 4 coats for this swatch but still wasn't happy with the results. It was too pale for me. Next time I will try a opaque base coat polish and hopefully that will make it pop a little more.
Wallis On the other hand, Wallis is so dreamy and gorgeous! I am in love with this color. There is nothing else like it. Wow! Overall I am glad that I experienced Butter London but for the price I doubt I will make another purchase from them again UNLESS I find another great deal like this.

It's a pale grey and I'm loving it. I have other grey polishes, but this is the palest of them all. For some reason, my newest nail polish desire is for nude and neutral colors. Hey Ladies & Gents! I am loving this amazing weather. Of course, it's hot humid and kinda sticky but I'm a spring baby so this is the perfect weather for me. However, my hair is singing another song. ROFL! What are you thoughts? Do you prefer the warmer months, or the colder brisk months?
My brother recently graduated from High School and I couldn't be more happier. I Thank God for allowing him to move on to a new chapter in his life and becoming a young man :-) While I was home for his graduation, I stopped in Walgreens. I haven't been to Walgreens in a while because CVS was recently built by my home so is has become easier to just stop in there. I was happy to find some polishes for a great price and here they are! These are Megalast polishes by Wet N' Wild!

I loved the color of I need a refresh mint so much that I had to wear that out immediately.
The color is refreshing and goes well with the gorgeous weather.

Overall, the polish holds up pretty well. There was no bubbling or streaking after 2 even coats were applied. One of the major drawbacks to the polish to me is the brush. This is the largest brush I have ever seen for nail polish. I was unsure if the brush was for my nails, or if it was made for a puppy. HaHa. It's so big and wide! Luckily my nail bed is long so I was able to make it work but for those with smaller nail beds, it may be a challenge for you
Something else I noticed with this brush is that it has split ends. As you can see the brush isn't completely even at the tip and there is a strand sticking out on the side. This has taught me to look at the brushes before I purchase any nail polish from now on. I would just prefer to have a smooth even brush because anything to make my application process easier will help me out a lot.
When I purchased these polishes they were buy 2 @ 1.99ea, get 1 free. I'm not sure if this was the sale price or the everyday low price but here is the link if you want to grab a few. I believe that $3.99 for 3 bottles is a good deal even though the brushes are a little iffy. Happy Shopping!
