My Mix on Ruby Tuesday's Strawberry Lemonade

My girlfriend treated me out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Usually when I go out, I'll have a glass of water  with lemon or a cocktail but today I wanted to try something different. I went for their Strawberry Lemonade and I'm glad that I did. It was the best tasting refreshment I've had in a long time. When I went home I knew I had to try and mimic their recipe. I think it was a success.
  1. Grab frozen whole strawberries and Country Time Lemonade Mix
  2. Defrost the strawberries a little by putting in the fridge instead of the freezer or using the defrost feature on your microwave (you still want the strawberries to be firm and not mushy)
  3. Muddle the strawberries
  4. Prepare the lemonade based on the directions on the packaging
  5. After the lemonade is mixed, add the muddled strawberries and a little sugar (I use organic or raw sugar)
  6. Taste the strawberry lemonade and if you need more sugar, add more to your liking
  7.  I also added a little fresh lemon juice to really give it that lemonade flavor
Overall I am satisfied and addicted to this drink! The same girlfriend that took me out to lunch had some and she thought I purchased a pitcher of lemonade from Ruby Tuesday. She couldn't taste anything different with my homemade recipe and theirs. If you're wanting to remix it a little you can try using Mangos or raspberries instead of strawberries. For an added kick, spice it up with a little Vodka or Rum. Yummy! Let me know if you try it and how you like it :)

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog.....XOXO, LaTasha :)
