MAC A Novel Romance 'LINGERING KISS' Dupe !!

Ladies, I have found the perfect match to MAC's Lingering Kiss lipstick and No it is not Talk that Talk which is also by MAC. If you aren't aware, their new collection 'A Novel Romance' was released this week. The first and only color I had my heart set on was this one. The color is so rich and perfect for fall which is right around the corner. It was a must have for me! 

You will never believe what brand and lipstick is the dupe for Lingering Kiss.

 As you can see in Natural light, they are almost identical. You probably couldn't tell the difference could you? In Artificial light, the textures of the lipsticks are different. The Dupe isn't a matte whereas Lingering Kiss is a true matte. To change the texture of any non-matte lipstick to a matte, add a little translucent powder after applying the lipstick, and Walah!

I purchased mines from Cherry Culture some time ago but cannot find it there now. However, I was able to find the lipstick on eBay (some of the buyers have different so I'm not sure if the shade is too), and HERE. If any of you ladies currently have this color or can track it down, please grab it. It's such a beautiful color. They both are :)

Pretty in Pink

I purchased this dress in the beginning of our pregnancy for under $20 bucks from my 1st ever visit to Motherhood Maternity (BTW I love that place!). The dress comfy and inexpensive so I had to grabbed this Pink Dream. It didn't hurt that my husband loved it as well (Hehe!) Things have changed a lot since then because I was much smaller. I think I'll be able to get at least one more wear out of it, but if not that's ok. I look at my progress as a blessing. #Thankful♡

Why is this color so luscious?!? OMG. When I first applied the lip color, I was a little disappointed because it was a tad streaky but after two coats, it stayed on like a dream. Its dark, strong, rich, and PERFECT! That's exactly how I love my lip colors especially for the winter months. I cannot wait to wear her out and I am so thankful I was able to grab this beauty because.

I added more pictures to share with you, but the quality of them changed when I uploaded to my blog thanks to Google + and it's driving me BANANAS! 

Anyhow, back to the lipstick…This is one of M･A･C's collections I was waiting to be revealed. I am loving nudes lately so getting adding these items to my collection was a must. 

Close Contact - My FAVORITE! It reminds me a little of Creme De Nude with the silkiness and smooth application but it has more coverage in my opinion. I am so glad I ordered a backup of this because I am in love.

Sensual Sparks - I thought I would love this especially when I saw it on other ladies, but my issue is that is blends in with my complexion. I'm a NC45 by M･A･C and this is pretty much the same shade. It's NC45 on my lips. LOL If I were a shade darker or lighter, it would be perfect on me.

I did not get Morning Rose. After seeing Bad Girl RiRi on me, I realize that Rose/Mauve shades are a thumbs down for me. Also I'm not a frost gal so I passed on Carnal Instinct too.

Home for the Holidays|OOTD

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and have a great Holiday. 

I headed back home for the holidays and enjoyed time with my family. 

It was much needed. 

Christmas came so fast and I felt unprepared.

These are "Roxie" and the booties I wore yesterday. After receiving so many compliments from everyone yesterday, I thought I would share my thoughts thus far. They are unbelievably comfortable and sky high. My perfect shoe! If you haven't joined Shoedazzle yet, my advice to you is HURRY. This is the only shoe membership I have. JustFab customer service sucks and their selection is HORRIBLE!

L.A. Girl - Pro Concealer Review

Why I am just finding this concealer? I think I am a little late but I'm glad I am jumping on board. Now or Never! I grabbed two of these from my local BSS for only $1.99. I initially saw them online at  Cherry Culture for $2.50 on sale PLUS shipping costs so I got a really good deal. 

I wasn't sure what shade I was so I picked up FAWN and WARM HONEY. I side swatches comparisons to my Makeup Forever Concealer in #12 and MAC Studio Fix in NC45. I thought Fawn was a perfect match as you can see in the first photo. You can also see how the concealer covers my blemishes. It's perfect! Once I did side by side comparison, I saw that Warm Honey was a closer match to my MAC. Either way I can wear either especially during the warmer months when I tan easily.

4th of July|OOTD

Of course I wouldn't skip wearing Red, White, and Blue on July 4th! This was yesterday's OOTD and I'm going to keep it quick and simple.

I did a post on this blouse previously last year for a Wine Festival I attended. That was my first time wearing it and yesterday was my 2nd. I cannot believe I received so many compliments on this blouse once again. I guess I'm not the only one who loves skulls.
