American Apparel Hunter Review & Swatches

How do I love thee let me explain the ways♡ I wanted to tell you guys about American Apparel's Cyber sale before the sale was over but unfortunately this post didn't make it in time :( I still had to share with you another one of their beautiful nail polish colors. This is Hunter and it's a beautiful dark forest green.

Juicy Couture Quilted Wallet (similar HERE)
I love American Apparel nail polish colors. I have blogged about AA's amazing colors before. See some of their beautiful colors HERE The next time you're looking for nail polish that doesn't chip quickly, is reasonably price, and have great colors please check out American Apparel. I think you'll be satisfied. I surely am.

American Apparel Echo Park Review

I hope this works. Ok, I am attempting to do a post from my iPad. I need another option other than using my PC for blogging especially since I am usually out and about. Hopefully this is a success so I can bring you guys more posts. This should be exciting.
This is Echo Park by American Apparel. They recently had a amazing sale with free shipping so I racked up. This is what I am wearing today so I has to share this with you guys. It's a pale grey and I'm loving it. I have other grey polishes, but this is the palest of them all. For some reason, my newest nail polish desire is for nude and neutral colors. As you all know, I have my moments when it comes to nail colors. LOL

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog.....XOXO

Update on my American Apparel Nail Polish

Update on my American Apparel Nail Polish

I have been wearing Crescent Heights now for AT LEAST 4 days now and I must say this.....WOW!!

This polish has lasted so long that I am in shock. In comparison with my first nail polish from AA, this is amazing and has won me over.

I was correct when I stated in my previous post that color does matter. As soon as I pulled the applicator out the Crescent Heights bottle, I knew it was not going to chip as quickly as the other color had in the past.

Usually I swap out my polish every 2 to 3 days because I just get bored with the color but not this time! The color is so unique and I love having a little breather from nail polish touch ups :-)

Touch ups:

  • Putting polish over my worn polish, then another top coat
  • Removing the old polish and adding fresh polish on that particular nail
  • Adding a top coat every day, or every other day after my initial coat is added
There is very minimal chipping because.....YES, I am still wearing the same polish today

Left Hand

Right Hand (the hand I use the most)

It has a little more chipping, but still in pretty good shape

Thank goodness for second chances because I was going to miss out on a really great product. I will be purchasing from them again with a smile on my face.

American Apparel Nail Polish Swatches - Fall/Winter Shades of Green

I must say that my first love is nail polish. I consider myself to be a polish fanatic! I enjoy pampering myself with manicures and pedicures.

Nail Polish adds that extra girly touch of color and makes any ring piece pop a little more while also adding an extra splash of color to any outfit. Since the fall and winter months are near, I am on the search for the newest colors to add to my current collection.

I have purchased from American Apparel in the past, but my first experience with the nail polish just so-so. Although the color I selected was amazing and I received so many compliments, I was not pleased with the quality of the product. After a day or so, the polish started to chip.

Since I believe in giving second chances and I had a coupon for the store, I decided to give them another try. I am glad I did

I love how the packaging really protected the bottles

After I got the outside wrapping off, each bottle was individually wrapped as well

At the top from L to R: Army Jacket - Crescent Heights
Below: Passport Blue (Not reviewed in this post)

"Army Jacket" is a true army green. I love green and I am glad that I purchased this particular shade. This color will look really nice paired with a Taupe or Beige Blazer

"Trenchcoat" reminds me of a Werthers Original Hard Candy. It is also the color of Caramel. It is a really nice neutral color, but not so neutral that is it muted. This color pairs well with rust or orange colored tops.

I was unsure about "Crescent Heights" because it appeared to be a very bright neon color which is not what I was going for. I preferred fall/winter colors that would blend well with the other colors I selected. This color is perfect and a nice surprise. It reminds me of a split pea with just a hint of lime. This goes well with grey. I think this is my favorite so far and a must have!

With these amazing colors and a great price, I must say....IT IS WORTH THE PURCHASE!
I will be buying more colors in the future because they are very unique and you cannot find any colors like this anyplace else. Two Thumbs Up **************
