NEW Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation!

My Right Side (With NARS) My Left Side (No Product)
My Right Side (With NARS) My Left Side (No Product)
NARS Only (No other concealer or foundation!)
As you can see with the product, it almost erases all of my blemishes and really evens out my skin tone. I am in shock because the product is so light. It's loose as water but covers so much! It's like magic in a bottle.

**To apply this product I used Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush with One pump of the NARS. I am a NC45 by MAC for comparison and the shade I purchased was 'Syracuse' from NARS. It's a perfect match!!!

Thanks for Stopping By,

My 1st ever GLAM BAG!

I've heard so many things about IPSY Glam Bag but was never really interested in getting. I have way too many cosmetics and beauty items so adding more to my collection not necessary. However when my friend showed me her November bag and explained how she loved the items I thought WHY NOT?
It's a monthly subscription that only costs $10 a month (of course you can cancel at anytime). You get a mix of deluxe sample and full sized items in each bag. Here in my 1st bag I received:
NYX Pearl Shadow in "Charcoal Pearl", Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencil in "Zero", Mirabella Prime for Face and Eyes, Mai Couture highlight papier, and Be A Bombshell lip gloss in "Hot Mess" Everything comes in a cute zippered cosmetic bag that ironically reminds me of the NYX shadow I received this month..
This will look great over any red lipstick or stain.
I love it and it's not sticky at all!
You can see the shimmer on the paper
Under my left eye I am wearing the highlight papier
(no product was used on my right eye)
Look at all the shimmer. Wow!
(l-r)
The primer is a clear gel(I will use as an eye primer only)
Zero glides on smoothly and it's a matte black just like I wanted
Pearl Mania is perfect for the holidays and pretty pigmented
The item I was most excited about receiving was the UD 24/7 Glide on Pencil. I purchased their same pencil but in the color Pervusion which is an out of this world beyond black. I didn't know "Zero" existed and was a step down from the blackest black Pervusion which is why I wanted to try the shade but thought I'd just wait it out. Luckily for me I received it in my bag. Yay!

Just to show you how good of a deal the $10 Glam Bag is I'm going to give you a break down of what each item sells for when purchased separately:

The UD Pencil is half size in the bag so I received approximately $8 product. The highlight papier in the bag is only 25 sheets so that's about $14 worth of product (I love math, LOL) Even after calculating the actual sizes that I received, paying $10 for this bag is BEYOND a great deal! I am very happy that I decided to join when I did and cannot wait to see what next month has to offer

Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV Swatches and Review

Hey Everyone!
I have been away for a while. You all do not know how busy I have been. It's hard juggling school and work, while still maintaining good grades. Now that my class is over, I have a little more free time. Of course, I am still a shopper and a lover of fashion. I think every week, I am eyeing something from Hautelook. Lately, they have deals on all the things I love like Urban Decay. I have been looking at UD Palettes for a while and debating if I should get Naked 2, or another palette instead. Everyone has told me that Naked 1 is better than Naked 2 so I was on the fence about getting Naked 2. Then when I realized that their Book of Shadows IV came with a mini speaker, I was sold on that alone. I WANTED THAT SPEAKER BADLY!! HaHa! The reviews have not been that great about this palette either :-( I've heard that the previous Book of Shadows were much better than IV, the book did not have the greatest colors, and some of the shadows were poorly pigmented. When I saw this palette at Hautelook for under $30, I ordered it so fast with no hesitation. I was floored at how great of a deal it was.
The palette includes 16 Eyeshadows, full-size 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, travel-size Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and a travel-size Supercurl Curling Mascara

Overall, I am so happy with my purchase. So you can get an idea of how the shades may look on you, I am a MAC NC45 gal. I would consider my complexion to be medium light. All the Eyeshadows add some color with the exception of "Missionary". With my complexion this eyeshadow is almost nude on me. It barely adds any color to my lids, so I just use this particular one for blending instead. Some colors are more pigmented than others which I would consider to be the top 12 eyeshadows in this palette which happens to be the darker colors. The lighter shadows (bottom 4) are not as pigmented, but are still great colors that can easily add some neutral eye color.
This is Urban Decay's description of the colors:
"Baked (shimmering bright copper),
Bender (shimmering dark mossy green),
Blue Bus (bright blue w/ purple shimmer),
Bust (taupe brown w/subtle gray shimmer),
Cobra (sooty black w/golden shimmer),
Crystal (light silvery blue w/multi-dimensional shimmer),
Gravity (deep vibrant purple w/ multi-dimensional glitter),
Gunmetal (dark metallic silver w/silver sparkle),
Hijack (greyish green w/blue and green shimmer),
Lost (shimmering dark brown),
Midnight Cowgirl (shimmering gold w/gold sparkle),
Midnight Rodeo (metallic medium brown w/silver and gold glitter),
Missionary (light taupe w/pink shimmer),
Sin (shimmering champagne),
Skimp (shimmering ultra-light nude),
Zephyr (shimmering off-white);
Perversion 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (carbon black);
Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion(nude – dries invisibly),
Supercurl Curling Mascara (black)"
If you click on the link above, you can purchase this same palette which is on sale at Urban Decay's site too!
I love my speaker and the sound is not that bad. Of course, it isn't Bose but its more than I expected so I'm a happy customer. Also, what can you expect? You're pretty much getting a whole makeup kit for $29 (w/ UD's promo code), so I say jump on this deal while you can. Also if you are not a Hautelook customer, feel free to join using my link here. To sign up, it's free with no fees. You only pay for items that you purchase when you decide to make a purchase (Monthly/Weekly/Daily memberships are not for me personally). I know what it feels like to use someone's link and they don't want to help you on how the site works, so I am here if you have any questions

Thanks for stopping by, XOXO

Urban Decay's Naked and JewelMint

Beauty.com recently had a 20% off sale so I had to purchase something. I have heard about Urban Decay's Naked Eye-Shadow Palette for a while and this was the perfect chance for me to order. I attended a Hair & Fashion Show this past weekend and wanted to try the shadow along with some of my JewelMint pieces.

At first glance, the eye shadow colors were OK. (Yeah, just OK!). I have palettes from other companies that I use daily, so Urban Decay shadow colors appeared to be nothing new to me. I was WRONG!!

The Palette also came with a Urban Decay eye Primer and the Eye-Shadow Brush so I really feel like I got an amazing deal

From L to R: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, and GunMetal

I wanted a non dramatic eye so I decided to use "half baked" for my primary lid. I added "hustle" mixed with "creep" on my outer lid. I liked the end result because it was not too much or too little.

I added some of my favorite JewelMint pieces I have worn before:

  • Pin Up Necklace - seems like a piece that can only be worn casually, but I wore it a little different this time
  • Golden Goose Bracelet -  very classy and girly piece. I LOVE !
  • Trinity Bracelets - gold, rose-gold, and silver bracelets as a set. I love the mix of colors because they can be worn with anything
  • EverFrost Ring - my most worn JewelMint ring. I love the combination of white and gold. It can be paired with almost all of my outfits.

I also wanted to finally try other JewelMint pieces that I have never worn:

  • World's End Earrings - you can't miss these babes. Gold is in!
  • Humanity II/Revised Edition - Silver and rose-gold bracelet that goes so well with the other bracelets because of the mixture of colors.
I put on a simple black mini because the weather was nice out. Along with the dress, I added a orange blazer, platform pumps leopard pumps and leopard clutch (All purchased from Forever 21)
Here is the head to toe look
